Hosted by Nauset Citizens Alliance, Indivisible Outer Cape and Lower Cape Indivisible., Cape Cod Women for Change, Mid-Cape Indivisible and Indivisible Upper Cape
We are gathering on Sunday, July 5th from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at seven overpasses on Route 6 with messages to advance our pro-democracy causes to travelers passing by. The theme for July 5th is Reclaim our Country. As always, these are a peaceful events where we will stand in public spaces.
Here are the overpass locations:
- Sandwich, Exit 61 Quaker Meeting House Road (off street parking on service Rd)
- Marston Mills, Exit 65 Route 149
- Harwich, Exit 82 Overpass (park at Park & Ride)
- Harwich/Brewster Exit 85, Fontaine parking
- Brewster, Freeman’s Way Overpass (park at lay-by near the overpass)
- Orleans, Rock Harbor Road, Note: NO parking at The Farm
- Wellfleet, Long Pond Road Overpass (park at lay-by near/or at the Elementary school)

Look forward to seeing you there! You are welcome to bring your own signs, flags or banners to hold but please make sure they have VERY LARGE print so the cars passengers can read them!

**Please listen if you haven’t yet. Rachel Maddow did a special with Tim Snyder Dec. 12, that was incredible. Tim Snyder told us that we need to continue actions, LOCALLY. That local protests are so important. Showing up for local visibilities are what will change things. This is why Rachel tends to feature local actions on her show and via her Bluesky account.
