CCWfC statement regarding Nathan Nickerson III’s post shared on our Facebook page

The terrorist attack at our Capitol was abhorrent. That sacred building was damaged in the rampage, a police officer was killed and others injured. Members of Congress’ lives were threatened and endangered. The work of our Government was interrupted. What a horrific day.

Take action! Tell your MoC to support the COVID relief we need

The Hero’s Act has since been sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk, while he has the senate simply confirming federal judges and taking their vacations, ignoring the suffering of this country. People are dying in record numbers, a 9/11 every day! If we had the kind of relief the Hero’s act offered, we could “stay at home” long enough to get control of this virus.

We know of at least one local legislator who had told us he did NOT support this because he is pro-life, but after hearing from constituents and with an election looming, he voted
