PHOTOS: ROE Act Hearing June 17

We attended the ROE Act hearing that was moved to an auditorium because of the size of the crowd. There was an overflow, with a line of people waiting for others to leave so that they could enter.

The anti-choice crowd was there in force.  Catholic groups and other anti-choice religious groups came by the busload,  determined to make their voices heard. They wore red shirts with words like infanticide printed on the front – a common misnomer used by these groups, and included probably as many men as women.

The ROE Act supporters wore pink and included clergy, doctors, nurses and people from all over MA, many also arrived by bus.

We stayed as long as we could, and never got the chance to speak, but submitted our testimony in writing.

It is so important that we speak out in support of this bill.  Keep watching our website for the latest Calls to Action!
