Join us! Celebrate the Women’s March with short film and postcard party

Women’s March Film Screening and Postcard Party
Join us Saturday, January 20 at the Falmouth Public Library, at 2pm
There will be a screening of the Women’s March film, followed by action. We will fill out postcards to send to our legislators and the judiciary committee for the *Act to End Child Marriage in Massachusetts.
Details about the film:
The film Women’s March is a story about democracy, human rights, and what it means to stand up for your values in America today. The 45 minute documentary was shot on location in five U.S. cities and explores several women’s motivation to march. For some people, it was their first time marching. For others, it was the continuation of a decades-long fight for human rights, dignity, and justice. For all, it was an opportunity to make their voices heard.
Join us for a screening of this documentary to commemorate the largest one-day protest in American history, and take steps to move forward in 2018!
We appreciate postcard stamps and donations for materials if you are able. Map More information here.
