Healthcare Votes Fail. Now what? First, rally planned for 7/29 – then …

What now? We watch. We wait. We remain vigilant. The ACA needs fixing. Either Congress works in a bipartisan way (more likely in the senate) or Trump can take actions and make problems worse, increase costs, inflame destabilized insurance markets ….

What’s next?
There are several articles out that address the possibilities of a senate bi-partisan effort, and how they can resolve some of the issues. Asking Senators to take part in these efforts is likely to be a call to action:
- Democrats and Republicans should now agree on these real fixes for Obamacare
- GOP senators who blocked Obamacare repeal call for cooperation with Democrats
- Collins doubles down on call for bipartisan fix to ObamaCare
- Fixing Obamacare — it’s a bipartisan date
And you can send a thank you to the two republican women who stood strong and continuously voted no on all healthcare repeal and replace efforts, despite threats and harrasment.:
Senator Lisa Murkowski
Washington, D.C.
522 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510
Senator Susan M. Collins
413 Dirksen Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510
And John McCain, who begins cancer treatment Monday.
