For Cape locals there is a March for Truth, Saturday 6/3 at the Orleans Rotary from 12 PM – 2PM; Route 6 Orleans MA Orleans, MA 02653, Hosted by Our Revolution Cape Cod Affiliate ORCCA and Lower Cape Indivisible.
Tuesday, June 6th, 2:00-3:30pm: Financial Literacy Workshop:
Protect Yourself from Fraud and Scams
Canty Community Center, 790 Main Street, Falmouth
Please join the members of Falmouth Supporting Women in Financial Transition (SWIFT) for the first workshop in a series geared to help Falmouth senior citizens build their financial literacy skills. Event will feature members of the MA State Treasurer Deb Goldberg’s office and the Office of Economic Empowerment.
Workshop topics include:
- Recognize and reduce the risk of elder financial exploitations.
- Guard against identity theft.
- Plan for possible loss of your ability to manage your finances.
- Prepare financially for disasters.
- Find other resources for managing your money and reporting financial exploitation
This series is in partnership with the People’s United Bank.

The Barnstable Democratic Town Committee will hold a forum: “Immigrants on the Cape and Islands: their journeys, contributions and our shared future”. The forum is free and open to the public regardless of political party affiliation or lack thereof.

It’s almost time to come together to celebrate the diversity of our community,

Entertainment by Zoe Lewis. We’ll also have a DJ, inspirational speakers, games, activities, food, many information & vendor tables, t-shirts for sale, and a raffle. The first 400 people to arrive will also receive a free Cape Cod Pride tote bag!
